The training course is designed to professionally prepare male and female attendees for employment in the CP Officer role. LDC provides the BTEC Edexcel Certificate in Close Protection Level 3, which is approved by the UK SIA as meeting their CP training requirements. Our aim is to train attendees in the key skills and tactics required to become a skilled Close Protection Operator in a multitude of potential working environments. Our course content goes far beyond the requirements for UK Licensing.The course will cover both theory and practical training incorporating realistic CP exercises, and topics covered in this 140 hour course includes:

Location

The course will be run from our CP Unit in Colchester which has been set up to offer realistic locations for the high percentage practical out on the ground scenario based training incorporating realistic Close Protection situational exercises. Our Operational Planning room at the unit offers excellent accommodation for the knowledge delivery of CP theory and a basic but realistic living working environment for the CP Operative. There will be 5 days Hostile enviroment exercises and live firing bolted on to the end of the Course run in Colchester.
