This unit, Preparing to teach, is designed to follow the LLUK Preparing to teach in the lifelong learning sector. It is designed to meet new additional standards in post – 16 education and training.
The Level 3 BTEC Award in the Delivery of Conflict Management Training is designed to provide training for those working in the security sector or similar industries who have a responsibility to provide conflict management training to others opportunities for personnel who train in the security sector or similar industries to achieve a nationally recognised Level 3 vocationally-specific qualification the knowledge, understanding and skills that learners need to provide effective conflict management training.
It has been identified that door supervisors need to receive training in physical intervention skills to help reduce risk to themselves and others. The Maybo PI programme is the most widely used in the security industry and the benchmark.
The qualification you are undertaking is an Assessor Unit.
The Awards are work-based qualifications which assess the skills and knowledge people have and need to perform their job role effectively. The qualifications are designed using national occupational standards.
